Milwaukee Nursing Home
We're not a conventional Milwaukee nursing home like most may remember from the days of old. We're a high value skilled nursing facility and we understand there are times you simply cannot provide the care your family and loved ones need in your
home. At Lake Terrace, we provide a safe environment, skilled professionals, and
a rehabilitation program designed to help our residents regain function and maximize their
ability to lead independent lives. Whether you come to us for short-term rehabilitation after
hospitalization or long-term care solutions, our interdisciplinary team evaluates each resident’s unique needs and designs a customized program of care and rehabilitation.
Milwaukee Nursing Home - Skilled Nursing Long-Term Care
Our long-term care program features 24-hour nursing availability in an environment that encourages residents to remain active, increase their independence, and live comfortably as part of a community. Our dedicated and compassionate staff provides assistance with meals, medications, and other activities of daily living.
Patients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or behavioral issues that require a more secure Milwaukee nursing home environment can thrive in our S.A.F.E (Secure, Accommodating, Friendly Environment) Unit. You can rest assured that they are receiving the individualized care and encouragement they need in a protected, home-like setting.
Milwaukee Nursing Home - Skilled Nursing Short-Term Care
After hospitalization, many patients need short-term rehabilitation services to regain strength and function before returning home. Our interdisciplinary team features a full spectrum of specialties with state-of-the-art, condition-specific protocols selected by our physicians. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech/language therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, neurologic rehabilitation, and pulmonary rehabilitation all are available at Lake Terrace.
Our hospice services offer care, comfort, and peace for people facing terminal illnesses, and our respite care program provides temporary assistance to give caregivers time to recharge and recover from the day-to-day challenges of caring for someone with a life-limiting illness.
